The Camp – The Crocodile Nest
We stayed 4 nights at Flatdogs, 3 in the Treehouse and 1 in the Croc’s Nest. Both accommodations were fantastic – comfy, spacious and with great views. The restaurant was great, serving a variety of tasty food throughout the day.
But the main attraction – the safari activities – exceeded all of our expectations! All in all we had a brilliant experience staying at Flatdogs and I cannot fault it at all!

NEW in 2015
The perfect contrast to the wilder and bushier Treehouse, the Croc Nest is a large tented “house” with views onto the Luangwa River. There are two ensuite bedrooms plus inside and outside living and dining space as well as its own private swimming pool. The bathrooms have hot shower, toilet and basin and are semi-open. The bedrooms and living room have sliding doors out onto the deck area where there are more sofas and a dining table as well as pool beds and umbrellas. It is possible to add a third bed into each bedroom, so the house can sleep a maximum of six people.
The Croc Nest has a fridge for cold drinks, a kettle for hot and a radio so you can order up your meals from our restaurant and have them delivered to you at the house.
